This project started with a water leak, the owner thought she could run the project on her own. After sleepless nights of searching the web for inspiration, she realized she was in over her head. With another search for interior designers she found my website and the rest is history! While meeting with the couple, I took away several comments; they both liked the furniture and lighting fixtures that came with the cabin, these items reminded them of their parents and childhoods, giving sentimental value to them. The husband really wanted to incorporate green and not just any green but the green roof support seen from the lake side windows. Keeping that color in mind, I reconfigured the entire layout of the cabin, I changed the direction of the kitchen, moved the living room to the opposite side of the main space. Which made more sense since the fireplace was on the other side of the room. Using 2 sofas of different sizes, we created a cozy living room with a view of the lake and/or the TV, fireplace wall.
