This mudroom is basically an oversized hallway that serves many purposes. The owner wanted more storage for coats, hats, gloves and SHOES. They have so many shoes at the door we added a closet with vertical storage just for shoes. Custom designed cabinetry for this space allowed deep drawers for hats and gloves, open space under the bench for everyday shoes and open hooks for coats and backpacks. Its pretty and functional!
