Modern Traditional Bath

This is the master bath in a home built about 10 years ago, while functional, it lacked personality. “I am so sick of the brown” said the owner. When we sat down to go over her list of wants, she had one, “I love this tile, you can pick the rest.” Even though we kept the foot print of the bath the same I did suggest pulling her tub forward in the alcove to create a ledge for shampoo, soaps and other bathing products. The “gotta to have it” tile was used in the tub surround, then we added new glass doors so we could see that gorgeous tile! I left the vanity cabinet but updated it with new hardware and countertop. Recessed medicine cabinets and wall mounted faucets pop off the new herringbone patterned tile wall. The completed look is fresh yet timeless.
